Arotech's FAAC Incorporated Announces $2.1M Contract From Bombardier for Toronto Light Rail Vehicle Simulator
ANN ARBOR, MI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 08/16/11 -- FAAC Incorporated, part of Arotech Corporation's (NASDAQ: ARTX) Training and Simulation Division, has announced a $2.1 million contract for the Toronto Transit Commission's Light Rail Vehicle simulator. The Light Rail Vehicle is a new railcar being produced by Bombardier Transportation. Under subcontract to Bombardier Transportation, FAAC will design, develop, and deliver the simulator to support Toronto Transit Commission's training program. As planned, the simulator will be delivered in advance of the new railcars to initiate training prior to the railcars entering service.
