Arotech’s Armor
Division Receives New Orders to Deliver Ballistic Vests and Armor
Kits for Fixed and Rotary Aviation Equipment
February
14, 2005 - Arotech Corporation (NasdaqNM: ARTX) ) announced
today that its Simulation and Security Division,announced today
that its Armor Division, had recently received new orders totaling
$800,000.
The orders were awarded to Arotech’s
Armour of America subsidiary to provide fixed and rotary wing armor
kits as well as ballistic vests to various customers. Arotech’s
armor products will be used to support U.S. missions abroad as well
as military users in Central America and the Middle East. The products
will be manufactured in Armour of America’s facility in Los
Angeles.
In addition, Arotech’s Armour
of America subsidiary recently delivered orders to provide floatation
vests and chest plates to US law enforcement and military agencies.
Orders for Humvee and truck armor were also supplied to support
Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
and rotary wing armor kits were delivered in support of U.N. missions
in South America.
