Arotech Corporation Presents
Latest in Training and Simulation Products at IITSEC, Orlando
December
6, 2004 - Arotech Corporation (NasdaqNM: ARTX) announced today
that two of its subsidiaries, FAAC and IES Interactive Training,
belonging to Arotech's Simulation and Training Division will be
featuring their products at the Interservice/Industry Training,
Simulation, and Education Conference (IITSEC). IITSEC is the world’s
largest conference for training and simulation, with a particular
emphasis on military training. It runs December 6-9 at the Orlando
County (FL) Convention Center.
FAAC will present its US Army
Operator Driving System (USA ODS) in support of two programs:
The Common
Driver Trainer/Stryker (CDT/SV) will be presented at the SAIC booth
#2605. CDT/SV is a long term program recently awarded to the SAIC/FAAC
team for the development and production of wheeled and tracked Army
and other government entity driving simulators.
The Virtual
Combat Convoy Trainer (VCCT) will be presented at the Raydon booth
#149. VCCT is a fast-track Army program to develop training systems
for Humvee and other wheeled vehicle teams in recognizing, avoiding,
confronting, defending, and escaping from insurgent ambushes of
convoys in Iraq. FAAC is upgrading the baseline Raydon VCCT with
a variant of the USA ODS.
IES will present its new MILO interactive classroom
trainer. MILO integrates and supports the full range of IES products
including its firearms/use-of-force trainer, firearms training and
testing system, and A to Z classroom training system. IES will be
in booth 2355.
“The IITSEC conference is the place
to “see and be seen” in the worldwide simulation community”
stated Al Jordan, FAAC CEO. “Every major military organization
throughout the world, as well as many non-military organizations,
will have representatives attending the conference."
