Arotech's IES Interactive Training Subsidiary Receives over $400,000 in Orders from Nuclear Power Plants

Dayton Police Academy Also Joins Growing List of Police Academies Using IES Simulators

December 9, 2003 - Arotech Corporation (NasdaqNM: ARTX) announced today that its use-of-force training subsidiary, IES Interactive Training, Inc. has received purchase orders valued at over $400,000 for Range 3000 XP4 digital training simulators. Three more nuclear power plants have ordered IES training systems for training their security staff.

Security in nuclear power plants has been stepped up, and the three nuclear power plants that recently ordered IES simulators are using them to train their security staff. In addition, the Dayton, Ohio, Police Academy has also recently ordered new IES Range 3000 simulators.

"The importance of the training security personnel is in part a result of growing awareness to security issues relating to nuclear facilities," said Robert S. Ehrlich, Arotech's Chairman, President and CEO. "These facilities clearly appreciate our state of the art simulators and training systems."

IES Interactive training is a wholly owned Arotech subsidiary. It has no relation to the Israeli I.E.S. Group, which filed suit against Arotech. The suit, by mutual consent, has been moved to binding arbitration before an arbitrator experienced in commercial matters, where the Company intends to mount a vigorous defense, including counterclaims.
